Inside a session

What to expect.

A practitioner's account of what happens in a Biofield Tuning session — before, during, and after.

On this page

A Biofield Tuning session is a 60-to-90-minute one-on-one treatment using calibrated tuning forks to locate and release held patterns in the body's electromagnetic field.

What follows: arrival, the session arc itself, integration, and how sessions build across an arc. For the full modality overview, see Biofield Tuning.

Before.

Have a glass of water in the hour before your session. Hydration helps the field be more responsive.

The intake form. A short form is completed when booking through Acuity — what's bringing you in, what you're hoping to work with.

What to wear. Comfortable clothing you can lie down in. The forks are used over clothing — nothing needs to be removed.

In the day or two before. Drink water, eat lightly, and avoid alcohol if possible — it helps the field be more responsive.

The space.

Online sessions follow the same shape. You set up your own quiet space — somewhere you can lie down for 60 to 90 minutes, undisturbed.

The session.

Setting the intention.

Vanessa begins with a brief grounding conversation — what's bringing you in, what your field is holding today, anything you'd like the session to attend to. You don't need to know what you're working on; the work will surface what's relevant. Then you lie down clothed, and the conversation gives way to silence.

The forks at work.

Vanessa strikes the tuning forks and brings them through the field around your body. Where the field is coherent, the tone rings clear. Where energy is held, the tone changes character — and that change is what she listens for.

The work is biofeedback through resonance: the field tells the practitioner what it needs by how it responds to the tone. For the full mechanism, see how Biofield Tuning works.

What you may feel.

Tingling along the body, a wave-like quality moving through, sometimes the surfacing of an emotion or memory you didn't know you were carrying. Most clients describe an unusually deep, almost trance-like relaxation.

Some fall asleep briefly. None of it requires belief — the work happens through resonance, not concept.

After.

The first hour. Most clients describe a quiet, slightly foggy openness — nervous system noticeably steadier, less to say. A short walk or quiet drink helps the system land. Avoid stacking the rest of the day with demands if you can.

The first night. Sleep is often deeper, sometimes with vivid dreams as patterns continue to integrate. Some clients wake with insights or emotional clarity that wasn't there before.

Across the next few days. Integration unfolds quietly — small shifts in how you respond to triggers, in body sensation, in mood baseline.

First session vs ongoing.

The first session runs 90 minutes — Vanessa's first read of your specific field. This is foundational; everything else builds from it.

Ongoing sessions run 60 minutes. Same depth in the work itself, without the extended intake.

Many clients book individual sessions when they're ready; others book a 3-session package and work through an arc together. Many feel a meaningful shift after one session; three to five sessions supports lasting change.

Common questions

You may be wondering.

Still curious? Read more about the practice or see sessions.

How often can you do Biofield Tuning?

For maintenance: monthly or as needed. Sessions integrate over hours and days, so spacing too tightly reduces benefit — the system needs time to land each session before the next.

Will I have to talk during the session?

Brief grounding conversation at the start; otherwise the work is quiet. You don't need to narrate what you're feeling.

If something significant surfaces, you can speak; if not, the practitioner reads the field's response without needing your input.

What if I don't feel anything?

Some clients feel very little during the session itself and significant shifts in the days following. The work happens at the level of the field; the felt experience is one signal of many.

Trust integration over immediate sensation.

Can I do a session if I'm pregnant, on medication, or have a medical condition?

Generally yes — the work is non-invasive and complementary. Trained practitioners follow contraindications: forks aren't used over the abdomen during pregnancy; certain medical conditions warrant a brief pre-session conversation.

Mention any concerns when booking and Vanessa will advise.

Can I bring a support person?

Sessions are 1:1 by design — the practitioner needs to read your field without other inputs. A support person can wait in Onespace Collective's common area, but the session itself is just you and Vanessa.
